The Directors, Ms. Sindhura Indukuri and Ms. Aishwarya Kurra wanted to create a learning space like no other, where the students would board the bus with a smile each morning. They wished to create a transparent system in which the parents become equal stakeholders, a place where the teacher and the taught share a special bond. Their dream came true when they decided to collaborate with Shri Educare Limited (SEL).
A strong 3 way partnership between the school, parents and students has been instrumental in the growth of the school. We believe in collaborating with all our stakeholders every step of the way. The open door policy followed by the school has helped us leverage the expertise and valuable suggestions from the parent body which has helped us in growing from strength to strength. The trust shown by the parents and the fact that most of our admissions have happened through word of mouth is a fete in itself.
We started the journey with Grade V in the year 2017 as the senior-most class and proudly created our 1st student council body in the very first year. Form mornings/evenings, Mad about Tales, Shri Khel and Run For Fun were some signature events that we executed in the first year. In the second year, we successfully hosted the first inter-school fest ‘Shri Dhara’ and in the third year we hosted Shri Utsav. In the fourth year, we swiftly transitioned into the virtual world to ensure that teaching learning continued unhindered; yet Shri Hunar, Shri Jhankaar, Shri Fit Fest, Acharya Devo Bhava continued to add flavour to the lives of students.
The school received appreciation for being one of the most progressive CBSE schools in Hyderabad. We have also been recognized for progressive leadership, parent engagement and have also received social impact awards.
With these values driving every endeavour at The Shri Ram Universal School, our journey so far has been a satisfying and humbling one. We started in the year 2017 with 300 students and 50 teachers; today we have over 1455 students and 130 Shri educators.
